Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2014 impressed the competent international jury at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles
Villa Yambol’s Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2014 was the only Bulgarian wine that was awarded a grand gold medal at this year’s edition of the Mondial de Bruxelles contest. The contest is known as the “World Wine Championship”, and was held in the beginning of the month in Valladolid, Spain. Villa Yambol presented exceptional wines that impressed the international jury of enologists, sommeliers and wine experts. A grand gold medal is only awarded to the best wines that are given over 92 points.
Villa Yambol got three other medals at the completion. Gold was awarded to Kabile Mavrud and Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, as well as to Villa Yambol Merlot Reserve 2014, and silver – to Kabile Rose 2016. This is the second gold medal for the coupage Kabile Mavroud and Cabernet Sauvignon; just two months before, the wine got a gold medal at the Vinalies Internationales international wine contest, beating wines of a higher price class.
Villa Yambol is selling its products in over 20 countries from 4 continents. Over the years, it has established itself as a leading wine exporter, receiving orders from the USA, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic and even from Kenya, China, South Korea, the UAE, Singapore, Palestine, Malaysia, etc. The producer takes pride in its love for its earth, grapes and wine, with its heritage, and makes wine which is well-known both in Bulgaria and abroad.
