Kabile Supported the 34th Edition of the Apolonia Festival

Hundreds Sampled Villa Yambol’s Series of Wines as Part of the Festival’s Musical Program

Villa Yambol’s Kabile series of wine supported Apolonia Festival’s 34^th edition which took place in early September in Sozopol. The wines became an integral part of the event’s musical program as each night’s audience of more than 800 people packing the Amphitheater got a chance to taste a “heritage dating back millennia trapped in a bottle”. This year’s edition of the 10-day festival, as always, featured the best of last year’s theatrical, cinematic, and musical season. Capacity crowds, artists thrilled and honored by their participation, and a festive atmosphere for all aficionados of the arts – this pretty much how the Festival’s founder, Professor Dimo Dimov recapped the event.

The Kabile wines earned high praise from the audience who got a chance to sample the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc white wines as well as the Series’ rosé and Syrah red wine. Having tasted the wines, people immediately wanted to know the name of the winery, where they could purchase the wines, and, most of all, what was the story behind the label featuring Goddess Cybele and the name of the wine.

The tastings of the Kabile wines during the performances of Tundzha Folklore Song and Dance Company left foreign guests of the Festival speechless. The wines also accompanied the performances of Beloslava, Hilda Kazasian’s A Smile for Ella Fitzgerald Concert, the stage shows of one of Bulgaria’s most popular modern bands, Jeremy!, and Titanichno, the musical spectacle by Militsa Gladnishka. The one of a kind artist Zhivko Petrov made it a point to come and taste the wines. The festival’s finale also came with a glass of Kabile as the phenomenal FSB performed for the crowd at the amphitheater and the hundreds outside who came to see them but could not get tickets.
