Villa Yambol Rosé 2014 of "Yambol Winery" won a silver medal at the 22nd edition of Europe's largest wine competition “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”. In this year's competition were included more than 8,000 samples of wines from all over the world. In the jury attended 300 tasters from more than 50 countries. Tasting sheets were according to the standard of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). Criteria for silver medal are an average grade of wine between 83 and 86.5 points. This year's program of the World Championship included wine seminars, thematic workshops, open discussions, tourist tours and tastings.
This is yet recognition of merit and good quality of Villa Yambol Rosé2014 after in April it won a silver medal at the prestigious Festival Mondial du Rosé in Cannes. Villa Yambol Rosé is of Cabernet Sauvignon sort. The wine has an attractive flavor - bright cherry and red fruits with pips. The taste is full, with a good effort, volume, length and harmony. There is a fresh, spicy finish and lasting aftertaste.
In 2016 the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles will be hosted in the city of Plovdiv. The event is among the most important for the wine industry, and in our country next year will arrive one of the best tasters, who will evaluate the merits of a thousand wines from all around the world. The forum will be held from 29th April to 1st May 2016. Guests of the competition will have the opportunity to explore Bulgarian history and culture, which are associated with wine since ancient times.
