Around 50% of the export of Bulgarian red wines to Japan, Canada and some countries in the EU is already covered by Vinprom Yambol's factories, the company announced. Over the last few years, the winery gradually gained positions to become the second largest exporter in the branch after Domain Boyar by achieving a serious export for Great Britain, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Austria, France, Denmark and many other EU countries.
Vinprom Yambol consists of two factories - in Yambol and in Straldzha, commissioned into operation in 1975 and 1965 correspondingly. What is typical for the Yambol production is the unique building and vineyards location, from which they buy raw materials for production of wines and grape distillates. They are both located in the valley of Tundzha River or close to it as the region is known for its mild micro-climate - mild winter and averagely hot summer. This ensures more equal ripening of the grapes and the production of high-quality wines after vinification, also receiving really good grape distillates.
For the past years Vinprom Yambol gained positions as one of the four largest producers and bottling companies of alcoholic beverages (rakia, мас vodka, mint liquor, brandyand other liquors). Its production includes some of the most famous rakia brands - "Straldzhanska Muscat Rakia", "Yambolska grape Rakia", "Otlezhala Tzarska Muscat Rakia", "Yambolska Muscat otlezhala" and also the wine "Cabernet Sauvignon Tzarska Reserva".
