Persona Wines Win Numerous Prizes

In 2004,Vinprom Yambol successfully launched on the internal market the wine series with the brand Persona. The wines from the series Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rosé, Chardonnay, Muskat and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve have modern taste and follow the tendencies of the New World. Persona is distinguished for its intense, rich and lasting fruity aroma, dense and well balanced flavor with an impressive after-taste.

Vinprom Yambol is a traditional producer of high quality red and white wines and is one of the largest exporters on the European market. Persona wines are extraordinarily well accepted in Europe for many years now and are highly evaluated when participating in the largest wine competitions worldwide. Persona Merlot 2004 won the Honorary Diploma from the International Competition for Wines in London - International Wine and Spirits Exhibition 2005. Persona successfully passed all tests of the strict jury that eliminated 40 % for all participating wines at the first tour of the tastings. Persona Merlot Reserve2003 won a Silver medal from the international exhibition Mundus Vini 2005, held in Germany and, Persona Caberne Sauvignon 2004 - a bronze medal. Persona was competing with 4300 wines from 40 countries all around the world.

Apart from the world recognition, the wines from the series were awarded with silver and bronze medals from Vinaria 2005 and Wine of the Year 2004 and 2003 . The elite Bacchus magazine also gave the wines high scores. The tender Chardonnay received 82 points, the passionate Cabernet Sauvignon with 81 points, the Merlot and the Rosé - with 80 points. This placed all of them in the category of  the strongly recommended wines.
